We had three separate pool areas that needed to be attended to within a 5 star luxury Hotel and we were very impressed with the workmanship. We are really happy with our pool renovation carried out by Pools That Work. From the start, Bart made it clear what our options were and indicative costs. He followed this up with a clear quote and upon acceptance a contract for works was sent so we knew exactly what we were up for. Given the weather dependence of the work and the effect on the proposed schedule, Bart provided a proposed start date. Once works commenced, daily updates were sent via text of where we were at and what was coming next. He also ensured the site was clean and tidy at the end of each day and at the end of the work. The quality of the work was excellent and nothing was too much trouble, we now have an updated pool that we will be able to enjoy for years to come! Apart from the quality of the work itself the other features that impressed us most with Pools That Work was the clear communication and site tidy up, which when having work carried out around the house is not always the case. I reached out to Bart and his team to complete tiling work around a newly installed Swim-Spa. Bart promptly came out and inspected the site and provided us with a reasonable cost for the job. We had an old concrete pool, which was resurfaced with a glass interior and bluestone coping completed by Bart from Pools That Work and we were very happy with the result. It came up very nice and Bart was very helpful in supplying and giving his opinion for the sample colours for the glass pebble and an assortment of waterline tiles to choose from, Bart also removed all the old crazy paving and concrete which was a help. Bart also replaced the old Pool filter and installed all the relevant pipework. Bart was very easy to deal with and well organised. We are absolutely thrilled with the pool renovation that "Pools That Work" completed for us on our 30 year old pool. Gone is the old chipped and cracked slate surround and top slate pool tiling! No suggestion was too hard, even removing large pieces of concrete by hand was no effort at all. We now have a beautiful merbu timber deck with a luxurious sandstone surround. Internal pool tiling was coordinated to match our old colour tones. Our pool was emptied, refilled, pumps changed over and change of position too, internal lights changed as well! This was all completed in less than a month. Bart answered many of our queries before, during and after hours. Nothing was too much effort.
